Freya Rathmill is a pointillism artist based in Cheshire. Her work is greatly inspired by Japanese and Scandinavian aesthetics, where her monochromatic colour scheme and use of blank space creates a modern, minimalist design.

Her featured collections are focused on the intricacies of nature. After collaborating with Cedar and Star in 2020 to produce our range of hand pyrographed log rounds, we were both inspired to continue working together. Freya has been the artist in residence at Cedar and Star since 2021. 

For her launch at Cedar and Star Freya has created a wood collection, which is inspired by her time spent in the workshop admiring our selection of woodcuts.
